My Top 3 Books For Positive Mindset

Oh you know I love me some TLC – that be Chilli from TLC for all those Gen Z’ers who are lost. Did you know that for a long time I thought “Don’t go chasing waterfalls” was “Don’t go Jason Waterfalls” – it’s a story about a boy who lost his way……makes sense. 

Alright now to the actual topic of conversation, books for positive mindset.  I’ve found that as a business owner and as a human being it’s hard for me to stay positive all the time.  In fact, it’s actual work to stay positive – I’m constantly stuffing negative thoughts in my head and reaffirming my goodness. That’s no way to live huh? 

But honestly learning how to handle those thoughts has helped me become a better person and business owner.  These books are my top 3 that helped me on my journey and that I hope can help you on yours. 

1. You Are A Badass – Jen Sincero

Changed my life.  Changed my mindset for the better.  I can’t recommend this book enough.  Jen Sincero knows how to keep it both light hearted and deep at the same time.  She also hands you practices to do throughout the book to work on the methods she has mentioned.  I’ve bought every book from her – she is amazing and has helped me mold my mind for the greater good. 2. You Are A Badass At Making Money – Jen Sincero

Ok so I was probably suppose to pick a different author but this book hits just as well as the first.  We all have a relationship with money, we have to, why not make it a healthy one?  Whether you are extremely well off or living paycheck to paycheck this book identifies and focuses on our needs as humans.  Money will always exist in some form, why not take control of it and not fear it.  This book helped me create a positive outlook towards money vs. a negative one. 3. It’s Not Supposed to Be This Way – Lysa TerKeurst

Finding unexpected strength when disappointments leave you shattered…..I mean need I say more?? This book is geared towards women and it’s also a devotional.  I understand that not all my followers are Christians (and I’m chill with that) but if you are, this is a good book to read. You can take it at any pace you want but I highly suggest going slow, it’s a lot to take in.  Also don’t write it off because you think it’s not your stage of life – because it is.  I mean Lysa wrote this when she was around 50 and it applied to every stage she could think of.  I’m thankful for this book because it keeps me connected to God but also is teaching how to be ok with where I am in life.  Which I believe we all need reminders of. But know at the end of the day if you need someone to talk to I am always able to lend an ear.  In fact I spend every day myself trying to get into a positive mindset!
