Gabrielle and Ben reached out to me on Instagram. After setting up our initial FaceTime it took me all of 2 seconds to realize they are a perfect client for me. Why? Because I’ve seen enough weddings to look at two people and know that they are madly in love. That the puppy eyes for each other aren’t just a phase, they truly will make it through anything.
The material things that come with a wedding could be far off from Gabrielle and Ben’s minds. They wanted an intimate Smoky Mountain wedding with only their close family and friends. They wanted a cabin, everything very casual and to make sure their son, Tripp, was included as much as possible. Gabrielle and Ben already knew what love was when they had Tripp, now they wanted to solidify their love in a small declaration to those that meant the most to them.
I love Gabrielle and Ben’s interests, their uniqueness, the fact that they are unapologetically themselves. They are kind, humble and welcoming – all things that you hope for when meeting people for the first time in person (yup, you read that right). I still watch their journey over Instagram. Though I know it’s not as personal as a phone call it brings me joy witnessing their family grow.
With all that said, take in the beauty that is this intimate Smoky Mountain wedding below. This couple rolled with the punches, never got upset, displayed what it means to be selfless and loving. And though we had road blocks and timing changes along the way, we created something that they will never forget. And that I will never forget.
